good luck trying to get disability on hearing I try for almost two years no luck yet

Yesterday I was in Joplin, MO for a VA scheduled hearing test for a disability claim and my wife and I stopped at an Iron Skillet for Breakfast. When we went to out our booth a young couple (probably in their 40's) were seated at the booth next to ours. The gentleman said good morning and and I said hi how you doing. The normal thing to do when you make eye contact with someone. When they were leaving the gentleman said have a good day and I said you too. A few minutes later something happened that I have not experienced before. Our waitperson came over and said "I am not supposed to tell you who, but your ticket is taken care of and Thank You". Now that is nice but until you know what I was wearing it may seem strange. I had one of our t-shirts on and a Vietnam Veterans cap. It was obvious why it was done and to agree with my wife it made us tear up a little. It was a nice feeling and now I need to pay it forward which I will do. Welcome Home! Made my day!

Any good with a video camera and planning on bringing it? It would be fun to have some tape of the Karaoke and other events if you would be willing to bring it and take some video for us! If you do let me know. I know it is the last minute but my brain is fried and going in circles! Thanks and call my cell 217-417-2411

Like Johnny said, we met this morning for breakfast after 44 years of not seeing each other. It was really great to see him. We talked for about an hour and half. I sure hope he and his wife gets to come to the reunion.

Met with John Hunt today at Shoneys in Pikeville Ky.Had a great reunion.It had been 45 years since we had seen each other.May come to the reunion this year.Will know in a couple of days.Would love to see all you guys.

Willie, I know that many of us are on a budget with a fixed income and even planning for a trip can be impossible. I hope that we treat all our Brothers with compassion and if possible offer them what assistance we can so they can make the trip. Let us be thankful for what we have and hope that we all live a long and happy life!

some of these have some on the damn excuses why they can't come you have ever heard. They could make me sick. All you have to do is plan ahead. Patsy and I start planning for the next reunion when we get home from the last one. We are not rich but we learned how to live on a budget when I was in Army. and we still do. Brother, will see you in Branson in about 2 more weeks.
