when we were at fort hood myself along with 2 others received artical 15s , all we did was drink to much pop and cookie and went to the mess hall for a sandwich , lol :rolleyes: i don't understand it , they called it pilfering ,???? all we did was make a sandwich, the co was libert?? he was also at the 19th engineers in viet Nam , the same place i was sent , i think that's when i first started getting hart burn . see you all there , and all the goodie two shoes from c co also . :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :clap: :super:

Isn't all ways fun to know that you are going to see all of your old Brothers one more time. I all ways enjoy our reunion.If you have not been to one, you don't know what you are missing.

C Company Earthmoving Platoon returned to the 589th in August, 1968 after 5 months on the DMZ. C Company had a new Commander at the time - Richard Comiso. You should have seen the shock on his face when he saw us with our spit shined boots, starched fatigues, and short hair. Ask him about it at the reunion. :toast: :toast:

P.S. Everyone is invited to the C Company area of operations chapel. :super:

C Company: milk made us physically strong; pure thoughts made us morally strong. C Company will have its traditional chapel in the room to the left. As always, Vespers will probably continue to 1 am or 3 am depending on attendance. We have a special going for A Company confessions. :clap:

Right on Willie, just like when we were across the pond. I must admit that when I got stuck on a job with C Co. away from the posh 5 star accomadations of A Co., You C Co guys were always very hospitable and generous and only drank milk and smoked Marlboros,and always gave me the first pick of which mudhole to sleep in

Well, it looks like the war between A Co. and C co. will be going full blast at the reunion.

Good point Larry, I'm glad that more C Co. guys are able to find their way to Branson.
There is still the age old debate about quality vs. quantity.LOL. Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion and the rest of the C Co. brothers to.

Hmmm - there are more C Company guys signed up for the reunion than A Company guys. I hope A Company is not growing old and tired.
